The wind-chimes sing to me the songs reminiscent of a future that I dreamt of long back;
They are reminders of where I’ve got to be;
I’m not close enough, but not too far!
The old familiar hymns are reviving like whirlwinds brewing up a storm.
I’m apprehensive of opening the gates to an ocean of emotions,
But what would I be without that spark in my aplomb!
Where at? Where to? both are mysteries that I have welcomed and will do so with open arms;
Where from? What for? I’ve never been sure,
Sometimes a conqueror, other times surrendering like a lazy wave receding after barely touching the shore;
but the heart wants what the heart wants!
